Mia Jung

Director of Interiors

Mia Jung is the Director of Interiors at Kligerman Architecture & Design. She was born and raised in South Korea, came to New York at the age of 18, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts, worked at Victoria Hagan Interiors, and joined Ike Kligerman Barkley in 1999. Mia has been the creative mind for two decades of celebrated projects. There is no predetermined formula or style in her design. Whether it is a beach house, a mountain home, or a city apartment, each project is a unique blend of the client, the architecture, and Mia's creativity. She is a mother of two boys and a student of calligraphy. Mia’s interests in literature, weaving, jewelry design, and ink wash painting lead her to appreciate craftsmanship and traditions. She collaborates with many artisans around the world.
